When you’ll hear back

We aim to respond promptly:

• If you contact us during core hours, we will respond as soon as possible, within 2 working days (although this is usually sooner).
• If you contact us outside core hours (evenings, weekends or bank holidays), we will  respond as soon as possible, but within 2 working days from when we re-open (although this is usually sooner).

What happens next

Depending on your needs, we will:

• Offer an appointment (either in person or via telephone).
• Provide advice or care through other suitable methods.
• Signpost you to services that are more appropriate for your medical problem and that you can access yourself (e.g. pharmacies, opticians, minor injuries etc.).
• Request more information or explain when and how you will receive further care.

• The urgency of your condition
• Your preferences where possible
• Ensuring your health is not put at risk by delays
