Diabetic Clinics are held both at Griffithstown and West Pontnewydd surgeries. Before the Diabetic Clinic is held patients that have made an appointment for this clinic must allow 2 weeks for Diabetic bloods to be taken. These diabetic clinics are held alternative weeks by first seeing the Sister on duty where she will need a sample of urine and weight etc will be taken. Advise on Glucose monitoring will be given as well, the Diabetic doctor will then consult with you with regards to the blood results. DO NOT FORGET THE BLOOD TEST 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE DIABETIC CLINIC.
